It all started in the early 70s when a young LA County Deputy Sheriff walked in to a coin shop and met this young kid working there. They both had a passion for coins and quickly became friends. The deputy would later buy that shop and the kid would work there and after a few years he would sell it to that kid.  A few years later they would partner and open a second coin shop this time in Orange County. After a few years they would sell that shop and each would go there separate ways yet remain friends.  

 

The kid would stay in the same type of business and open several more stores over the next 30 years.  He would also expand to jewelry, watches and diamonds. The deputy would eventually retire, travel, fish and live the easy life,  

 

We thought......... Now 45 years later the deputy is no longer young and the kid is no longer a kid and now were at it again.  This time at Laguna Coins / Gold-Cards & Coins Inc. in Laguna Woods.
